Heated TPU Granule Mixers
We design and manufacture industrial vertical stainless steel mixers specifically engineered for the handling, drying, and homogenization of polymer granules such as PVC and TPU. These systems feature a temperature control system that utilizes the hot air flow supplied by the user’s plant utilities.
The integration of this technology allows the material to be maintained at the required process temperature while completing the dehumidification phase directly inside the mixer.
The design of our mixing systems, as shown in the plant installation “4 eated-pvc-tpu-vertical-mixer-stainless-steel.png”, is based on construction solutions aimed at thermal and mechanical efficiency:
- Process Hot Air Inlet: The system is pre-arranged for direct connection to the customer’s existing hot air supply line, optimizing the overall energy consumption of the facility.
- Radial Diffusion via Central Core: Hot air is directed into the mixer body through a central core. A series of calibrated capillary holes distributes the airflow radially, directly into the core of the granule mass.
- Cooperative Thermal Homogenization: The combined action of the vertical material-lifting screw and the internal capillary air injection prevents thermal gradients and cold spots within the batch.
- Structural Insulation: The cylinder and the discharge cone are fully insulated and protected by a welded, satin-finish stainless steel outer jacket, designed to minimize heat loss and ensure personnel safety.
