In the chemical and industrial fluid processing sectors, homogenizing raw materials directly within intermediate bulk containers is essential for process efficiency. Our bridge-mounted vertical agitators (also known as beam mixers) are specifically engineered for direct installation onto standard 1000-liter IBC tanks and totes.
This portable mixing system allows users to blend, maintain in suspension, or redissolve settled components (such as polyols, resins, paints, or chemical additives) directly inside the shipping container, eliminating transfer steps and contamination risks.
- Heavy-Duty Bridge Structure: Built from robust stainless steel, the support beam is designed to clamp quickly and securely onto the top metal cage of the IBC tote, ensuring maximum stability during operation.
- Collapsible Impeller System: Equipped with folding or collapsible mixing blades. This design allows the shaft to easily pass through the tote’s standard top lid (DN 150), automatically expanding via centrifugal force once the mixer is turned on.
- On-Board Control Panel: Features an integrated electrical enclosure mounted on the beam, complete with a safety circuit breaker, start/stop buttons, and an optional variable frequency drive (VFD) to adjust mixing speed according to fluid viscosity.
- Optimized Motor and Gearbox: High-efficiency electric gearmotor calibrated to deliver constant torque even with medium-to-high viscosity fluids, ensuring a controlled RPM range that prevents air entrainment.
- High Portability: The compact monobloc frame includes dedicated side handles for easy lifting, transport, and quick repositioning from one IBC container to another using standard hoisting equipment or forklifts.
